This qualiﬁcation aims to develop knowledge and skills relating to the children and young people's workforce in roles such as early years educator, children’s social care and residential childcare, especially in a playwork setting. Workers in this role will support the lead playworker and develop playing opportunities for children and young adults. The level 2 course serves as the progression pathway to the required qualiﬁcation at level 3.
Playworkers will demonstrate a positive motivated and can do attitude that will help impact the behaviours of the children participating. Whilst completing this course, learners will develop knowledge in the following areas:
