As a Head Chef within food service management you could be working in a range of establishments that require food service. You will oversee the preparation of the food to ensure it is compliant with the organisation’s requirements, and manage the kitchen team.
Learners are required to complete mandatory units which cover aspects of set objectives and provide support for team members, develop working relationships with colleagues, lead a team to improve customer service, contribute to the control of resources and maintain the health, hygiene, safety and security of the working environment.
