International Day of Education

22/01/2024

Worldwide, we are witnessing a surge in violent conflicts coupled with a notable increase in discrimination, racism, xenophobia, and hate speech. Regardless of geographical location or distinctions such as gender, race, religion, or politics, violence knows no boundaries, manifesting itself both online and offline.

Education for global peace must be transformative, empowering learners with essential knowledge, values, attitudes, skills, and behaviours to emerge as advocates for peace in their communities and beyond.

As an online training provider, we have a range of training courses which might be of interest to those who are looking to make a difference in their workplace. These include our courageous conversations training, conflict management training, and safeguarding adults in the workplace training.

Ensuring education is accessible and inclusive is vital for all countries across the globe as this allows everyone to succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty, which is currently leaving children, youth, and adults behind in lots of circumstances. Currently, 250 million children and youth are out of school and 763 million adults are illiterate. Their right to education is being violated, and something needs to change.

In England, the early years industry is continually evolving to ensure that the curriculum remains current and provides forward-thinking solutions, setting our children up for success in their future endeavours. While this ongoing adaptation keeps the system up to date, it does require teachers already in the industry to continually adjust their teaching methods and approaches.

Our virtual learning academy offers a wide selection of CPD courses which are constantly being updated and refreshed to ensure that teachers across England have the opportunity to access training which continues to improve their professional development. Childcare training allows you to reach your full potential.
